Because it's a parody of Princess Maker series, where you raise a little girl as the father and may even marry her (don't worry, the father and the daughter are never blood related). The goal of the original game is to make her win contests, get a nice job and marry a nice man. The parody seems to focus more on the contests than the job.

The game's shippiness, as you probably know, depends on who you prefer. My friend is presently obsessed with making gothic Lolita Yuki blush -- it might be his type of moe -- and I think he may end up making Kyon marry her or something. He's creeped out by Itsuki, though, so he doesn't look his way much and I haven't seen any significant interaction between them (so no molestation, alas!). I managed to play the SOS Dan Quest phase. The reason for Itsuki's costume is that he's supposed to be some kind of ministrel who attacks with pastel music notes. If you want fun, put Mikuru in charge of the sound FX. Her attempt to make a soundtrack for Kyon's special attack (which is actually pretty cool) is funny as all hell.

So I have this problem where I torrented the game and I downloaded an emulator and the bios but I still can't run it.
