I don't know if I'm actually going to post the next few pages of Safe Mode Asakura in this thread - assuming they come out - because they actually don't have Asakura in them. Perhaps in the Nagato thread, but time will tell I suppose.

Just for anyone who might be wondering; from what shitty, shitty babelfish translations are telling me, Tokyo has been running himself ragged lately trying to both get the new Asakura book ready as well as getting the others ready for resale.

The second book has gone on resale as planned, but the first one accidentally came with black and white covers from what I've gathered. So now it's unknown if that one will go on resale or not.

Poor guy, I guess trying to get the masses what they want is a thankless job sometimes.

I don't know if anyone particularly cares, but I just felt like sharing that.

Man, trying to find all the websites with Asakura images on them is difficult. Just when I think one particular search engine has everything covered I find another one with sites I've never seen before.

I just actually remembered this, it's been such a long time since I've read the novels. It's origin is explained, but not what it actually means, this excerpt is from novel two, chapter four, near the end of the first "scene":

Kyon: "What on earth is a TFEI?"

Itsuki: "It's just an abbreviation we use amongst ourselves, you don't have to know what it stands for. I feel that Nagato-san is the most outstanding one among all of 'them'. I've been wondering, what else is she responsible for besides being a simple communication interface?"

I may read through the novels again during my winter break to see if it's mentioned anywhere else. Also just to read them again.

It's getting harder and harder to be an Asakura fan. As esuyuki has recently pointed out it turns out that for the PSP title that last square to be revealed was Mikuru(Big). Looking at the line-up, every character EXCEPT Ryoko appears, including the patsies from the computer club (the president is important, sure, but his sniveling subordinates? Come on...) Unless she's some sort of deluxe hidden character. But at the rate it's looking, it seems dire.

Anyways, that was me venting, in the meantime, Ryoko tries to kill Kyon in a new fashion. Results were probably mixed, at best.
