There's a lot of text on the front page now, but the translation is a little off, and this picture isn't helping matters much.

I don't know what it is about esuyuki's Asakura artwork, but it always manages to invoke a feeling that few other artists, even Tokyo, have yet to.

Well, my skills at handwritten kanji still suck, but from what I can tell, it's almost a word-for-word adaptation of the original dialogue with Kyon and Yuki--except for Asakura's word balloons in the fourth panel: "Well, how about dying?" Kyon responds: "Yes! I'd like to be killed in five minutes!" Kagami comments that their dialogue sounds really dangerous ("Is it okay?"), but Konata, totally composed, says it's just their way. :)

I'm sure if Kyon saw this he'd come pretty close to forgiving that whole "I almost killed you" incident, just to see Itsuki so uncomfortable.

The Asakura version of "Itoshi no Kare ga Furimukanai" (or, in this variation, "Itoshi no Kare ni wa Raibaru ga Ooi") is finally out! Watch for the Konata cameo, as well as all the hilarious Taniguchi appearances. :) For some reason, like the Yuki one, Asakura's version is sung by a guy.

Yeah, it's just Yuki, Taniguchi, and Asakura who have these little image movies, though Koizumi, Haruhi, and Mikuru get their own versions of the song (set to actual clips from the anime). :)

Phares' doujin is apparently coming close to being complete, or is actually done. It should be coming out soon, although from the website it doesn't seem (?) like they'll be attending Being Wasteful, I don't know for sure.
